Party Constitution

Formed as a regional political party as per the resolution vide no. 3, adopted in the Political Convention held on 4th and 5th December, 2005, Bodoland People’s Front (BPF), with Hagrama Mohilary as the President and Emmanuel Moshahary as the General Secretary gave shape to its own constitution. According to the constitution of the BPF, the party shall bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India as established by law and to the principles of democracy, socialism and secularism as enshrined in the Indian Constitution. It also solemnly affirms commitment to work for upholding the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India and also international understanding and emphasis on the development of scientific temper, providing social justice to all, and specially to women, children, old, physically challenged, weaker sections of the society, promotion of education, safe guarding of cultural heritages of all and thereby to bring all round development of all sections of people of Bodoland as well as Assam . It will also work towards strengthening the Indian Nationalism with utmost respect to the identities of people cutting across sections and religions.
