While, the Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) vies for sustainable economic development and all-round growth of the region, it’s mission is to establish the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) as a model administrative set up in the country. Giving high priority to literacy and education, BPF’s commitment is to work for the development of human resources through development of required infrastructures and establishment of top-notch educational institutions.
The primary motto of the Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) is to bring peace, prosperity and unity among all sections of people in the region and to work for the political rights, economic development and social justice for each and everyone. With democracy, socialism and secularism as markers, the party vies to work for the sovereignty and identity of the country. It also focuses to act as an influencer to make Bodoland self-sufficient by urging the Government of Assam and the Government of India to explore the abundant natural resources like water, forest, minerals and human resources of the region. The party also stands by the principles of co-operation, trust, tolerance, fraternity and co-existence, to influence the State and the Central governments along with national and international institutions to invest in the region for all-round development of Bodoland.
